Schwarzenegger Appoints Paul Burdick to Santa Cruz County Superior Court
Governor Schwarzenegger today announced the appointment of Paul P. Burdick to a judgeship in the Santa Cruz County Superior Court.
Burdick, 52, of Aptos, has served as a partner with Dunlap & Burdick since 1989 where he handles personal injury and insurance litigation. Previously, he was an associate at Britton & Jackson, a criminal defense firm, from 1979 to 1989.
Burdick earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Santa Clara and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He fills the vacancy created by the passing of Judge Arthur Danner, III. Burdick is a Democrat.
The compensation for this position is $149,160.
